The DCGS REVIEW Needs YOU and YOUR VIEW

The Publications Committee and THE REVIEW Editor want to improve the quality and expand the content of THE REVIEW. They want it to be your publication and meet your needs. Here are some ways that you can help as well as specific articles, short or long, that you can contribute:

Stories or articles from my own family research such as:
1. My DuPage County ancestors
2. My most interesting ancestor
3. How I broke though the brick wall
4. My experience with Scandinavian research and sources
5. My first visit to the LDS library in Salt Lake
6. How I've used Family Tree Maker
7. Ancestors I've found on the WEB
8.

Articles relating to DuPage County history or genealogy such as:
1. Early DuPage County stories, pioneers or families
2. Stories culled from early county newspapers and periodicals
3. 100 years ago in DuPage County
4. How did our ancestors reach DuPage County?
5. Early DuPage County school, church, farm, business or cemetery records, pictures or diaries
6. DuPage County genealogy resources and research helps
7. Past and present DuPage County photos, a "Now and Then" comparison
8.

Regular or occasional features or fillers:
1. Book reviews on books from our genealogy collection
2. Culling helpful items from other society publications
3. DCGS news and personal notes
4. Genealogy tips, trivia, puzzles, or quizzes
5. Computer or on-line genealogy tips, resources, ideas or experiences

Other ways that I could help:
1. Assist the editor in making assignments, planning future articles, handling queries, etc.
2. Help with other publishing needs such as indexing, proofreading, researching, etc.
3. Help our society Webmaster with our on-line Web pages
4. Take on a new DuPage County genealogical research and publishing project
