This book represents the culmination of several years of records verification and the computerization of the
index material by members of the DuPage County Genealogical Society. Containing 292 pages, the
hardbound volume lists 7,461 records for more than 6,000 individuals naturalized in DuPage County. The
index lists the full name; the date, locality, and country of birth; and the date and port of entry into the
United States to the extent that the original records detail this information.
Also included is a detailed inventory of the naturalization records in the custody of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court, a list of the courts where Declarations of Intent were filed, and a sampling of various forms of
naturalization papers.
